Hey Everyone,

After having an action packed itinerary, it was time to travel to various places in India, but here's the catch, it should be under a fixed budget!

This was my itinerary: Pune → Bangalore → Chennai → Vishakapatnam → Delhi → Chandigarh → Panchkula → Kasauli → Gurgaon → Noida → Mumbai and back. Yes, this was it!

So can you guess what my total expenditure was? Comment below! Don't cheat!

Now, the question arises, how did I pull it off under budget? So here are my main helping hands:

🫂 Amazinggggg AIT Alumni and College friends, who gave me a place to stay for a couple of nights, and even cooked food for me 🥹. This directly removed accommodation costs from the equation. At other places, dormitories, Sainik aaram Ghars (for defence wards) and gurudwaras were also available.

🚂 Trains - book tickets in tatkal or sit in sleeper and wait for the TC to get u a ticket (There may be extra charges but that'd be the best option).

🚍 Public Transport. It is soo unused by many tourists when traveling to various places, because of lack of knowledge. Look for metros, local trains, buses, Yulu bikes, Smart Cycles, etc. Ola/Uber have really spoilt us.

🌏 Google Maps - The best help at all places; see the different ways by which you can reach your destination. Very underused.
