The Fading Whispers: Echoes of Young Eternity

A poem in memory of my beloved mother, Heena Vyas, the strongest woman I have ever known:

In whispered echoes of eternity, A mother’s strength begins to fade, Battling time’s relentless decree, In shadows where her spirit’s laid.

Days slip through like grains of sand, Her presence wanes, a fading light, Love’s embrace, a tender hand, Guiding her through the endless night.

Gathered close, hearts heavy with woe, As she journeys to the unknown, The sorrow deep, emotions flow, Aching hearts in silence groan.

Through fading whispers, love remains, A fragile thread in the dark unknown,

In quiet moments, the heart explains, The sorrow of a love overthrown.

As people say, ‘Look how you’ve grown, Matured through trials, wisdom sought, I whisper back with a voice of stone, At what cost has this maturity been bought?

The notion that all happens for a reason, Tarnished by this harsh reality’s burn, The shadows lengthen, the sun does wane, A point of no return in sight, I question the dues, the hidden pain, Behind the facade of supposed light.

As shadows conquer the dying sun, She reaches a point of no return, In grief’s embrace, her journey’s done, And in sorrow’s fire, her memories burn.

Miss You Maa ❤️‍🩹
